She did a fascinating job!

Her blog post inspired me to want to check out Story Bird for myself. IT seems to be a great tool that could be useful for our transition to Common Core State Standards (Although, I can not find anyone who can really tell me how to implement CCSS.)
How I would use Story Bird
It would not be of any use to my students. I teach the 10-12 grade science electives, Human Anatomy and Physiology, Astronomy, and Spatial Information Science. I do like to visit the self contained Special Education classroom. It will be of great use to have those students create stories to increase their reading capabilities. I also feel it could be successfully integrated into Pre-K through Second grade. It could also provide differentiated instruction for struggling readers of all ages.
